DC SHOES X SE RACING FIXED GEAR BIKE (1)

I’ve never been really good on anything with 2 wheels – 4 wheels yes, but 2 wheels expertise has always somehow eluded me.
However, I have always had the maddest respect for people who can do tricks on BMX bikes with little regard for what happens if they fall. Seriously, people like Matt Hoffman and Dave Mirra (to name just 2) have some of the biggest balls on the planet.
And people who ride their bikes to the limit rely on the best equipment to keep them safe and in that respect one of the most OG names in bikes is SE Racing.
DC Shoes has collaborated with SE Racing over the past 3 years in producing a series of crazy limited and beautiful bikes. First was the classic PK Ripper BMX, followed last year by the 24″ Quadangle and this year, DC Shoes and SE Racing are releasing the PK Ripper Fixed Gear.
We all know fixed gear is the craze now, but REAL fixed gear-heads have been doing this shit for ages and every one of them will tell you that REAL fixed gear is for a very select group of people who have something akin to a death wish since the bikes have NO BRAKES. Those fucking posers who ride their bikes in car parks and take photos of each other in matching outfits and kicks do NOT belong in that category. I remember a few years ago when Futura was telling me about when he started riding fixed gear - way back when he was a bike messenger in New York … probably before I was born. Hahaha
Anywaysssss – two colors of the bike will be released – Matte Black and Ball Burnished Silver and each will be limited to only 1,250 worldwide!
I’m only allowed to show you this photo, but I’ve seen the whole bike and it really is a work of art. Once again, DC Shoes and SE Racing have come up with a bike that is bound to be an instant classic.
Good luck getting your hands on one!
